Server clock
With Halloween just around the corner I'm reminded of how much confusion happens at every event, over timezones and NPC visits.
Since events on www.guildwars.com are always listed in server local time, how about adding a small clock somewhere on the homepage that is set to server time?

I thought they already do that when something big happens, like Halloween or Wintersday, or when a new campaign/expansion starts.

I think they only did that with one event, and I forgot which one it was.

They have used a countdown clock for campain launches before, but I mean a regular clock that shows what the time is in ANets timezone.

I would support this on the condition that the server time does not have daylight savings. I don't care what the GMT offset is as long as it remains constant.

It would be nice if they had a clock on the ingame GUI, at least for holidays. One that says what time it is now, and how long it was until the next event. It would cut down (I hope) on people having to ask when the mad king comes next.
I try to be helpful player, and I try to answer all the questions I possibly can when people ask. But I swear, sometimes it's very annoying having people ask the same question over and over again when it was answered less than 5 seconds ago.

However plain and simple they make it, there will always be a barrage of people in every district demanding to know when things are happening.
We know this to be fact.

would be good if things were actually on time aswell. Take the recent Canthan Chineese New Year event, the pig was ment to show up at noon GMT, being +10 GMT he was ment to show up at 10:00pm, the Pig didn't show up till midnight.

A link to a local time converter would be helpful too.

Actually, I'm in AZ to. I think this would help me quite a bit. I wouldn't have to figure out if they are the same TZ as me, or one back, all I'd have to do is look at the clock in the lower right corner to see what time it is.
And, also, they have everything else as an option on the GUI, so I think they would give this one as a little check in the options list as well.
